About the panel:
Prominent trans athlete advocates will share proactive narrative strategies to push for transgender inclusion in sports. Too often advocates have found ourselves on the defensive against lawmakers and media weaponizing false information about trans athletes to attack the rights of LGBTQ people and democracy itself. This panel aims to equip our movement with positive messaging that can cut through the noise, informed by the extensive experience each athlete has with traditional media and social media advocacy.

About the conference:
Creating Change is the nation’s foremost political, leadership, and skills-building conference for the LGBTQ movement. We are building a future where everyone is free to be themselves in every aspect of their lives. Today, despite all the progress we have made to end discrimination, millions of LGBTQ people face barriers in every aspect of their lives: in housing, employment, healthcare, retirement, and basic human rights. These barriers must go. Through Creating Change and other advocacy programs, the Task Force is training and mobilizing thousands of activists across the nation to deliver a world where you can be you.
